Concept art of proposed Fairfield AmericInn

The AmericInn project will impact Fairfield in several ways. By making the lodging facility sustainable and environmentally friendly we will:

  • Set a high standard for new lodging facilities,
  • Encourage people interested in bioneering to visit and stay at the Fairfield AmericInn, and
  • Provide an opportunity for "green" contractors to work on the project.

A 5-minute drive from the new Civic Center, the Fairfield AmericInn will be the anchor for educational, recreational, artistic and cultural events.

Direct Revenue Effect:

  • Spending power of those providing services or products related to the lodging
  • Total trip expenses spent in community where lodging is purchased (e.g. fuel, food, gifts, entertainment)

Indirect Revenue Effect:

  • Maintenance, repair, contract services, and retail products will be purchased from community by hotel
  • Every $1 spent on lodging will generate approximately $4 - $6 within the community, which is estimated at over $2 million
